Hemmig connections have an important function in automotive production. Together with a sealant, they connect the high-quality, visible outer part with a structural part that provides for the attachment of all kinds of parts and ensures stability.

These so-called add-on parts are the figurehead of a vehicle. Already at a very early stage, we develop a so-called folding method and thereby establish the basis for the feasibility and the quality of the product. Together with the system conception by one of our experts, you receive a perfectly aligned overall system.

Wheel house & Door frames

We supply our standardised roller hemming systems for the production of hems on wheel arches and in the so-called door entrance, the door frame, to numerous European manufacturers, who have appreciated our products for many years, especially for upper and luxury class vehicles. Our systems, for all common types of robots, are characterised by a perfect symbiosis of durable roller tools and intelligent sensor technology from AI°, to achieve best possible production quality and, increasingly important, flexibility.

Sun- & Panoramic roofs

Even though air-conditioning systems have largely replaced sliding and panoramic roofs in small cars and mid-size class, they definitely have their justification for existence in the upper- and luxury classes. Our hemming tool is fixed stationary or to the robot and provides the basis for an efficient, cost-effective solution by combining all hemming steps. We accompany you during the processing of the sheet metal parts at the press, analyse measurement reports and derive the necessary recommendations for the quality of the overall product.

FW 100

These tools have successfully been used by many manufacturers for ten years in hundreds of applications and as a standard. With a corresponding mounting device, they form a complete hemming system. As a result of their compact design, even hard-to-reach areas can be accessed. A force measuring unit assists programmers or your maintenance staff to set the optimal hemming forces.

FW 200

This series of tools, together with appropriate surface protection, is used with great flexibility in the area of wheel arch hemming, but also for door entrances, i.e. door frames, or as a stationary tool for other add-on parts. Several pairs of coated rollers, which are moved pneumatically and are mounted on floating bearings, ensure precise hemming.

FW 300

Our FW 300 has a special role in the range of hemming tools in that it can be used especially for areas that are difficult to access, such as in the window shaft of a door or in the wheel housing area. The tool can absorb force in both directions and is therefore flexible in respect of its’ possible use. Also this tool offers an easy set-up thanks to an integrated force measuring unit.

FW 400

Sliding and panoramic roofs can be hemmed in a surface-friendly and precise manner with the FW 400. Its’ mounting device but also the actual programming is very simple here, as the technology to achieve the quality is embedded in the tool. Four to five pairs of rollers, depending on the material of the component, are engaged by standardised offline programming.
